Synopsis

The last time they saw one another was 25 years ago. What has become of the people they grew up with? What have they themselves become? Class reunions produce odd and embarrassing moments only life can write. The film is a tribute to such moments told with stories full of wit, surprise and authenticity.

Additional Information

CLASS OF ’93 is director Jan Schüttes’ third television series without a screenplay – and a product of acting craft par excellence, starring the who’s-who of the German screen: Burghart Klaußner (“Brecht”), Jeanette Hain („The Reader“), Charly Hübner („The Lives of Others“) to name a just few. Schütte has created his own much-praised and awarded genre by taking inspiration from staged spontaneous moments of comedy from “The Office” and acting them live – hilarious results no screenplay can produce.
